
I then opened these images in photoshop adjusted the sizes so they fitted nicely alongside each other and printed them off.
Here is the montage of pictures I would ink.
Using the light box and three sheets of paper, I inked different parts of the images on each different sheet of paper. I then scanned these drawings into photoshop.
After scanning the drawings in, I adjusted the threshold on each scan so it gave me pure black and white. I then changed the colours of the drawings to light blue, dark blue and black and placed them on top of each other.
After editing them I realised that I hadn't done enough ink and that my design looked quite bare so I used another sheet of paper and added more ink to the design.
This is the amount of ink that I added to my drawing.
I opened the scan in photoshop and did the exact same process as I did with all the other drawings (adjusting the threshold).
I changed the scan from black to a light pink and placed it over the other drawings.
Here is the final piece. I feel that I could've added more ink but I do like the fact that the colours are more simplistic.
