Second Copy

This was the image that I chose for my second copy.

The first thing I did was to look on the internet for a photo similar which included one of the members of the Arctic Monkeys. I came across this photo of Alex Turner.

I flipped the image so Turner was facing the same way as the model in the original design and cut out the background of the photograph.

To create the effect similar to the one on the original, I used the halftone pattern effect on photoshop so it created a dotted effect.

I changed the background colour to the same colour as the original.

To recreate the star shaped graphic on the original design, I had to make it in Adobe Illustrator and the copy and paste the graphic back into Photoshop.

I changed the colour of the graphic an placed it into the correct position. I then started to add text. I found my chosen text of 'Dafont' and it is called 'BigNoodleTitling'.

I copied the text, changed the colour to the same colour as the background and place it behind the dark text. It created this effect.

I needed to create the same grunge effect that was on the graphic so I went online and looked for Photoshop textures and altered the colour and opacity and placed it over the graphic.

I added other things to the design such as more text and graphics.

I forgot to add text to the larger text, here is the copy.
